System Requirements

Before you download Karafuru, make sure your Windows PC meets these requirements.

Operating System​

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit only)
  • Build 19041 or later for Windows 10

Hardware​

  • RAM: 2 GB minimum
  • Disk space: 1 GB free for installation + space for photo queue
  • USB Printer: Required for printing photos during events
  • USB Camera/Webcam: For live preview (recommended)

DSLR Integration (Optional)​

If you want to use a professional DSLR instead of a webcam:

  • Windows PC running DigiCamControl software (free)
  • Supported DSLR connected via USB to your PC
  • Stable network connection between PC and DigiCamControl

Internet Connection​

  • Required for license activation on first launch
  • Karafuru stores photos offline and uploads in the background when connected
  • Upload happens automatically — no action needed from you

You do NOT need to stay connected during events. Karafuru syncs your photos to the cloud whenever your internet reconnects.

Running Karafuru on a higher-spec machine ensures smooth sessions with minimal lag during live events.
